Anwar Kabir is the Founder and CEO of Brand Spectrum, an integrated marketing services company. Brand Spectrum started operations in May 2017 and is one of the fastest-growing marketing services companies in Pakistan.
Anwar started his career in 2002 and has been working in the advertising industry for over 18 years. He has a proven track record of running advertising and digital services setups, strategic brand communication, integrated marketing communication and brand architecture development. His last assignment was at McCann, where he served as the Executive Director; overseeing operations of Lahore and Islamabad offices. At McCann, he was also the Business Leader for the company’s strategically important global client NESTLÉ Pakistan. Prior to joining McCann, he worked for over 7 years at MullenLowe Group on various senior positions including the key roles of Business Director on the Nestlé Account and General Manager Lahore office.
Being a true mentor he has also developed and guided top-performing teams. Anwar has worked on leading brands across different categories including Nestlé MILKPAK, NESTLE EVERYDAY, NESVITA, MAGGI, NIDO, PEPSI, MCB, SERVIS Shoes, STYLO Shoes, Nishat Linen, Mitchells, Total PARCO, Bank Alfalah, FINCA Micro Finance Bank, Diamond Foams, Rose Petal, Tetra Pak, Descon Engineering, GFC Fans and ICI Dulux.
Anwar is a Visiting Faculty at LUMS, where he teaches Marketing Courses to MBA and EMBA classes. Having done an MBA from LUMS; he played a key role in setting up LUMS Suleman Dawood School of Business Alumni Association and has been on the Executive Board of the said association for various tenures. He is currently serving as the President of SDSB LUMINITES Alumni Association and Chairman of Communication Committee of the association.
He is actively involved with various professional and social forums and has held the position of Executive Council member with Marketing Association of Pakistan – Lahore Chapter. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International and is a member of Rotary Club of Lahore Corporate. He represents Brand Spectrum at platforms like American Business Forum, Pakistan Software House Association and Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industries as a Corporate Member. Anwar is fond of traveling and heads out to destinations uncharted whenever finds time.
